2012/13 Proposal

In 1996, when the Board of Governors approved cost-recovery tuition for international undergraduate students, they approved provisions for an annual cost of living adjustment. Cost of living increase anticipates near future Higher Education Price index costs (including General Wage Increases) associated with delivering undergraduate education at UBC.

For 2012/13, the University is proposing a 3.0% or $21.96 per credit increase in tuition fees,

The University is further proposing to offer new incoming international undergraduate  (2012/13 cohort) a tuition guarantee in the form of an annual increase of 2% for the subsequent years (2013/14, 2014/15, and 2015/16), or until graduation from your current degree, whichever is shorter.
