Faculty & staff
Go Global works with faculties and staff to develop international learning programs at UBC.
We support learning by offering students opportunities that complement their classroom and research experiences. When students learn outside their day-to-day environment, they can propel their personal and academic development and acquire first-hand awareness of global interconnectivity.
We work with faculties and staff to provide extensive support for UBC students before, during, and after their international experiences, with an eye to nurturing critical reflection and dialogue.
We also support visiting Exchange students from UBC’s partners around the world, working closely with our colleagues in International Student Development and UBC Faculties.

- We regularly advise students on partnerships with over 180 partner universities, group study programs in a range of disciplines, and community-based International Service Learning placements
- Our maintenance of the UBC Student Safety Abroad Policy ensures that the programs we develop adhere to UBC’s safety standards.
Our staff offer expertise in:
- international learning pedagogy and student development within the UBC experience,
- international academic processes, managing international university partnerships and programs, and credit transfer,
- establishing and maintaining partnerships with community-based non-profit organizations abroad.
