Policy on Financial Support
UBC’s Policy on financial support was approved by the Board of Governors to ensure that UBC's financial assistance programs and services meet the goal of making the University financially accessible to domestic students. The policy covers eligibility for financial support, the types of support available for each program, and how financial need is determined.
Credit/D/Fail (Cr/D/F) Grading Policy Awards Implications
The awards implications page outlines the impact of the Credit/D/Fail grading policy to UBC scholarships and awards. The policy was approved by the UBC Vancouver Senate and was created to encourage students' exploration of subject matters outside their program of study, to emphasize learning and academic exploration of the new and unfamiliar and to expose students to a broader based curriculum.
