Student loans

Student loans are offered by the Canadian and US governments to help students pay for their post-secondary education.
Government student loans take into consideration many factors, including:
- income and assets
- tuition, mandatory fees, and book costs
- living expenses
How to apply
Canadian students (including permanent residents, landed immigrants, and protected persons) apply for loans through their home province or territory.
Dual citizens (students who have both US and Canadian citizenship) can apply for loans through both the US and Canadian governments.
