Useful websites

Academic support

Visit The Learning Commons, an online portal for all things academic. The Learning Enhancement Academic Partnership Program provides information and links to academic help offered by a variety of campus partners.

Degree Navigator

The University of British Columbia's degree audit system, Degree Navigator, is an interactive advising tool designed to help current UBC students make informed decisions about their academic program. You can access Degree Navigator after you log in to the Student Service Centre (SSC)

Degree Navigator will help you:

  • view program requirements for UBC degrees
  • view course information as outlined in the UBC Calendar
  • evaluate courses you have taken against your program's requirements
  • view your course list
  • plan hypothetical course scenarios for future sessions

Some program requirements are still being revised. Currently, only undergraduate students in the following programs may use Degree Navigator to its full capabilities:

  • Arts (most programs)
  • Forestry (Forest Resources Management Major only)
  • Human Kinetics (except for the Physical Education option)
  • Land & Food Systems
  • Law
  • Nursing (except Post-Basic Baccalaureate Program)
  • Pharmacy

If you have any questions regarding your degree requirements please consult the Calendar or your faculty website, or contact your academic advising office.
