Volunteer UBC QPR instructors are trained by a QPR master trainer from the QPR Institute to facilitate QPR Gatekeeper training.
UBC QPR instructors have successfully trained a large number of QPR Gatekeepers since the program began in 2006, and this training continues to grow across campus.
QPR instructors receive support from UBC's QPR Steering Committee, which ensures that instructors have the tools they need for success, including facilitation techniques, networking opportunities, current resources, educational support, and a mentorship program in support of facilitators.
Instructors also receive support from the QPR Institute, which offers online resources, FAQs, and recertification.
