About
Centrally located, the Wayne and William White Engineering Design Centre boasts over 200 informal learning spaces for both group and quiet study right in the heart of campus. The first floor features soft seating, tables, chairs, and benches, with ceiling-height windows to allow for plenty of natural light.
The 100-seat Design Studio is a flexible, multi-level classroom space. When not used for instruction or other events, the Design Studio is open for individual and group study and can be booked for events.
On the mezzanine, stools and counters overlook the atrium. The Reading Room is located on the second floor and is open for study during building hours.

Steps away from coffee in the Fred Kaiser building, and a short walk from the Niche Café in the Beaty Biodiversity Museum, the EDC is perfect for long group study sessions.
Visit the Engineering Design Centre website for more information about the building and its programming, and details on how to book spaces for a variety of events.
