Timetable Representative Committee
Mandate
The Timetable Representative Scheduling (T-rep) Committee assists in the development of innovative scheduling practices that take into consideration student learning needs, academic program evolution, and the needs of the campus as a whole. The Committee works with Scheduling Services to recommend best practices timetable scheduling for the wider campus community.
The Scheduling Committee is guided by the principle of equity for all participants in the process. Practices, processes, and ideas formulated within the Committee should complement the UBC community as a whole.
Meetings
Topics discussed at meetings include the policies and procedures of the academic course scheduling guidelines, the rollover of standard timetables, scheduling processes, exam timetables, optimization-consideration forms, and classroom use.

Members
How are members chosen?
The committee includes T-reps from various academic departments across campus. The committee chair invites interested representatives to join the committee after the annual membership review. Guest members are permitted to attend meetings as necessary. The committee chair and committee secretary are both from Scheduling Services.
