Don't miss UBC's largest on-campus career fair, held concurrently with the Graduate and Professional Schools Fair.

Career Days is your chance to meet with employers interested in speaking with UBC students from all disciplines. Whether you're in first year or graduate school, in Engineering or Arts, they'll answer your career questions!

UBC students and alumni can visit more than 140 booths to:

  • Discuss career questions and opportunities with potential employers
  • Learn about professional associations and educational institutions that offer further training and career development after graduation

Reasons to register in advance

  • Receive exclusive emails and tips on how to prepare to meet exhibitors
  • Receive a discount for business card orders (via emails that go out to RSVPed individuals) courtesy of UBC Staples
  • Get a PDF copy of the handbook prior to the day of the event (with information on exhibitors not available anywhere else)
  • Register for employer speaker panels and graduate school panel

Careers in the Public Sector

The public sector is the largest employer in BC and offers a diverse range of opportunities. Learn more about what makes a strong applicant, what degree is required to work in the public sector, and what opportunities are available inside and outside of government.

Careers in the Finance Sector
October 6, 11:00 am to 12:00 pm
Whether you like talking to people or balancing a budget, careers in the fianance sector provide a range of opportunities locally, nationally and internationally. Get insight into the experiences of employers working in the field and ask them questions about the different paths you can take to build your own career.

Careers in Technology
October 6, 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm
Can you imagine creating state of the art technology that will impact thousands of people? Learn about the organizations that do this every day. A career in technology can range from developing websites and mobile applications to manufacturing software used by millions of clients.

Can't make it to Career Days and the Grad Fair?

Come to one of the many faculty-specific career fairs on campus, and learn which organizations will be hosting their own employer information sessions at UBC.
