How much does it cost to post a job on CareersOnline?
Full-time and part-time job postings are $75 for private companies and government agencies, and $25 for non-profit companies and individuals.
Internships and casual (15 hours or less per week, or 5 days or less in total) job postings are $25.
Job postings are free for UBC faculty and departments, as well as staff and students, as long as the job opportunity is for a UBC-related position. The fee will not be waived for job postings on behalf of third-party organizations or for personal hires such as babysitters or tutors.or for personal hires such as babysitters or tutors.

How long will my job posting be on CareersOnline?
Once approved, jobs are posted on CareersOnline for a maximum of 30 days, unless you specify an earlier deadline.
Can I post a volunteer opportunity on CareersOnline?
Yes, registered users can post volunteer positions on CareersOnline, at no charge. You can also contact AMS VolunteerConnect, the student-run volunteer organization for additional resources to promote volunteer opportunities to UBC students.
I registered for CareersOnline but forgot my password. How can I access my account?
On the CareersOnline login page, simply click 'Forgot Password' and enter your email address. A new password will be emailed to you. Alternatively, call our front desk at 604.822.4011 for assistance.
How can I make a change to a job posting after it's been approved?
Once a job posting has been approved in the system, you cannot make the changes yourself. Call our front desk at 604.822.4011 or email career.services@ubc.ca with the details of the required change. Please specify the job posting name and ID number.
