- Change your privacy settings.
- Tip: Need to change your preferred email address? Edit it on the Student Service Centre and it will automatically update on CareersOnline within a few days.

Documents: Manage your job search documents
- Upload resumes, cover letters and writing samples.
- Tip: You can currently upload a maximum of 10 documents. Deleting old documents does not affect your previous applications.

Job/volunteer postings: Browse job and volunteer opportunities
- Browse full-time, part-time, casual and volunteer postings for both current students and alumni.
- CareersOnline has a mix of on- and off-campus employers and organizations.
- Search by position type, location, preferred degrees, keywords and more.
- Tip: Use the "Saved Search" feature to create an automatic search agent.
- Tip: Attached the wrong resume? Go to "Positions You've Applied For" to withdraw your application and re-submit with the correct file.

Organization profiles: Research potential employers
- Read profiles of organizations that have posted jobs or attended on-campus events.
- Find contact information, websites and social media channels for favourite organizations.
- Tip: Review organization profiles before attending Career Days and employer information sessions.

Events/workshops: Browse and register for upcoming events and workshops
- Connect with employers at career fairs and on-campus employer information sessions.
- Sign up for career workshops such as resume clinics, interview practice sessions and more.
- Tip: See which employers are attending UBC Career Days and faculty-specific career fairs
More volunteer opportunities
AMS Volunteer Connect – Visit the AMS Volunteer Connections board in the Student Union Building's main concourse for more volunteer and internship placements, plus workshops, fairs and one-on-one consultations.
UBC Alumni Volunteering - The UBC Alumni Association relies on a large number of volunteers to provide their expertise on specific issues, to sit on a variety of committees and task forces and to generously give their time for alumni-related events.
