UBC resources
- Critical Studies in Sexuality (CSIS)
- CSIS offers an interdisciplinary exploration of how lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, heterosexual, transgender, and other sexualities intersect with the many academic areas studied in the Faculty of Arts and other faculties.
- Equity Office at UBC
- The Equity Office at works to prevent discrimination and harassment on campus, to provide procedures for handling complaints, and to coordinate UBC's employment and educational equity program.
- Positive Space Campaign at UBC
- The Positive Space Campaign is the initiative of a diverse group of students, staff, and faculty at UBC. It is intended to increase the visibility of educational safe spaces for persons questioning their sexual orientation or gender identity; for lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, transgendered, and two-spirited persons; and for students and allies researching these issues.
Positive Space Indicators (small rainbow-coloured posters) are displayed by trained resource persons in their work, study, or living space to signify that discussions and the presence of sexual and gender diversity are welcome. - Pride UBC
- Pride UBC provides peer support to members and friends of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered communities at UBC. It assists those who are coming out by providing a forum for discussion on sexuality, as well as educates the greater UBC community about the variation of human sexuality and the rights of queer people.

Gay & Lesbian Business Association – An online directory of LGBQTT businesses and services.
Greater Vancouver Pride Line – The Pride Line is Qmunity's peer support/information/referral phone line. It operates seven days a week from 7:00 to 10:00 pm, serving our communities both locally and province-wide. Trained volunteers provide information on social and community events, tourist information, referrals to social service agencies, support groups, and LGBQTT-friendly doctors, therapists, and services.

Little Sister's Book & Art Emporium – Since 1983, Little Sister's Book & Art Emporium has been serving the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender communities of Canada. With over 5,000 titles in stock, Little Sister's has a large selection of LGBQTT-related literature.
Qmunity – Qmunity is a community resource providing support, health and social services, and public education for the well-being of lesbians, gay men, transgendered and bisexual people, and their allies in Vancouver and throughout BC.

Trans Alliance Society – The Trans Alliance Society is a provincial organization that provides forums and resources to assist its members; promotes knowledge of trans culture; builds a sense of community with other organizations or individuals; and works toward removing all barriers that impact the transgendered community.

National resources
Canadians for Equal Marriage – Canadians for Equal Marriage is a national bilingual campaign made up of individuals and organizations who come together to promote, lobby, and educate on equal marriage rights in Canada.
Egale Canada – Egale Canada is a national organization that advances equality and justice for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and trans-identified people, and their allies across Canada.
Legit – This site will provide helpful information on immigrating to Canada for same-sex couples.
International resources
National Transgender Day of Remembrance – The National Transgender Day of Remembrance, November 20, was set aside to memorialize those who were killed due to anti-transgender hatred or prejudice.
