- Student Leadership Conference (SLC)
- The SLC takes place every January. This conference provides opportunities for students from all years and academic disciplines to develop their leadership skills through engaging keynote speakers and student, staff, faculty, and community-led workshops.
UBC Resources
AMS Colour Connected – Colour Connected challenges discrimination by organizing events and creating supportive academic, social, and political spaces for people of colour.
AMS Social Justice Centre – The Social Justice Centre is a resource group that helps to ensure basic human needs are met regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, age, or disability.
Equity Office – The Equity Office works to prevent discrimination and harassment on campus, to provide procedures for handling complaints, and to coordinate UBC's employment and educational equity program.
Pride UBC – Pride UBC provides peer support to members and friends of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered communities on campus. It assists those who are coming out by providing a forum for discussion on sexuality, and it educates the greater UBC community about sexual orientation and the rights of queer people.
Sexual Assault Support Centre (SASC) – SASC provides survivors of sexual assault (female, male, and trans, as well as their friends, family members, and partners) with emotional, medical, and legal support and resources. Services are free and confidential.
UBC Women's Centre – The Women's Centre is a safe space where women can organize against sexism and intersecting oppressions. The centre houses a library and coordinates events.
